These bags of 10 unique recycled glass beads are created using a traditional West Africa technique known as the powder glass method. Old, broken, discarded glass is crushed into a powder and placed in a bead mold. Once heated, the glass melts and as it cools, forms a single recycled glass bead.
Not only are these beads environmentally friendly, but they also support the local economy and showcase a centuries-old bead making tradition that is both visually striking and historically significant.
