This upcycled sari basket is hand–woven from recycled sari fabric by women participating in the nonprofit The Jute Works. Using recycled fabric for handicrafts increases the use life of the material and keeps it out of landfills. Colors and patterns vary.
The Jute Works represents more than 4,000 rural women artisans in 154 workshops to provide job training, and develop leadership skills.
